I began my journey in photography in 2001 when a friend asked me to do some headshots for her. The next thing I knew I had calls from models and actors from the agency she was with wanting me to do their photos. At that point I had no idea that I was being trained for a wonderful adventure into the land of light and beauty...photography.

My background is in TV , film and in makeup, so the progression was a natural one. I worked in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles for many years before coming here to Nashville. That was my schooling so to speak. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers, directors, makeup/special effect artists and masters in lighting, I have always learned by watching and doing.

I really enjoy all aspects of photography. I love the intimacy of a wedding, the joy of children, the individual beauty of each woman and man, the excitement of the entertainment photos I take, the knowledge I gain with medical photography, and the heart wrenching journey that my gallery work has taken me to. My heart beat is within the gallery page, as it is a good representation of who and why I am. I guess photography is my way of making a small difference in the lives of the people I work with and with the images I shoot. I just added he "personal work" page with a more intimate perspective on my life and travels, and my new blog page that I update often.

I still can't get over what a wonderful job I have! I meet the most wonderful people and get to travel to incredible places, I am truly blessed. And I hope that you are blessed and inspired as you view my site. It is proof that you can do anything you set your mind to, and that true beauty does exist in all things.
